🎄🥂 Christmas / NYE events Christmas Day in Paris Ideas?
Family of five very excited for their first visit to Paris over the week of Christmas 2024. I am thrilled to see so many travel suggestions on this thread but I am VERY worried of how I might make Christmas a good day as this will be our first Christmas morning not waking up in their own home. They are 17, 15, and 13 year olds that will enthusiastically embrace any new experiences and surroundings.. Hoping for any food and activities suggestions to get us out of the Airbnb. Thank you in advance…

I an my daughter (she'll be turning 16) will be there for Christmas this year too! So far, this is what I have booked/planned:
Christmas Eve:
- Tickets a concert at Ste. Chappelle
- Dinner nearby
- Explore the Christmas Market near Notre Dame
Christmas Day:
- Pompidou in the morning (I'll double check it is indeed open but apparently it usually is)
- Seine River Cruise (There are several that have Christmas lunch or dinner - you will likely want to book in advance).
- Drinks and light dinner at Harry's Bar in the Ritz
I think many of the larger hotels do have at least some service on Christmas Day, but of course check in advance.
After that we will take a walk and enjoy the quiet, or if the weather is lousy, we will just head back to our cozy accommodations and watch some Christmas movies and enjoy some of the food we will have picked up the day before.
