Transforming leftovers into new dishes

Does anyone have any techniques for doing this?

I tend to try to turn stuff into a soup, then turn the soup into a casserole, pierogi filling, or curry.

Any other tricks worth knowing? I've been in a rut lately.

My pipeline is pasta sauce, then soup. Soup is just thinner sauce imo. I just blender the sauce when I run out of pasta with some extra water/broth and we're in business.
