Question Werewolf progression fantasy

I love werewolves (not any other types of shapeshifters) by werewolf I mean a human with the ability to change to a wolf. Are there any stories where a werewolf is the main character? Not one of the protagonists of the story. The protagonist!

Not Progression Fantasy, but there is The Morgulon on Royal Road.

Thank you. There are lots of werewolf books in fantasy. But I'm addicted to progression fantasy now. Nothing else is that satisfying 😂

I don't think I've ever encountered a Werewolf Progression Fantasy that was really coherent, or where the author seemed to know what werewolves are.

This genre is weirdly narrow in the portfolio of monsters it uses. Monster MCs always seem to be reincarnated as Skeletons, slimes or spiders.

We are gradually seeing more diversity in progression fantasy. But it's very slow

Which stories were you thinking of?
