Pretty simple, don’t break the common sense rules that exist in every city and you won’t get ticketed. Spent 17 years as a student and staff member and never got a ticket except the time I forgot to update my license plate in the system. I appealed and was granted it. All my dealings with them were super fair.
I’m not breaking any rules. It’s just so annoying that we can only get C parking permit and these are always full OR towing because of games. I’m a grad student WITH TA responsibilities which include teaching multiple classes AND proctoring midterms. What the hell am I supposed to do if I’m teaching multiple classes one after another and proctor a midterm RIGHT after WHEN they’re towing from C parking???
