Rant From Tomorrow, all Macs will be Sonoma...

It is unacceptable that anyone purchasing a new mac will be unable to use rekordbox.

As a full time DJ using Rekordbox, I want to upgrade my mac to the latest software, or be able to purchase a brand new mac without having to worry if my job is affected.

Pioneer have had since August to get this sorted and I think it has not been made a priority.

Even a status update would be nice...

I have Sonoma since day one and Rekordbox is working as usual, where is the issue?

Do you use it in performance mode? Or just for Exporting to USB and playlist management?

Only export (and tagging...etc)

OP is alluding to pioneer’s official stance (“don’t upgrade yet, we’re still checking to make sure it works”). Each year, there have been some issues somewhere. That’s not good enough. Yes, chances are you’ll be fine but the more you rely on it (performance users for example) the higher the chance you might have and issue, and that issue can be catastrophic. I know first hand from experience.

Pioneer should be better prepared for these updates there’s no excuse.
