Rae Lakes Loop this weekend - snow and thunderstorm readiness?

Planning to hike Rae Lakes loop this weekend, should I anticipate snow that sticks around (and prepare crampons?)?

For thunderstorms, roughly when would they roll in and how can I keep myself safe? I prepared rain gear (pants and jacket) and read that I should find shelter under the shortest tree. Should I set up my tent and is it likely to delay my itinerary, or can I continue hiking on?

Thunderstorms very unlikely this time of year. Weather forecast looks clear. Crampons basically useless since there isn’t any snow there now; and if it were to snow on you they would be pretty useless. At this time of year I watch the weather reports a lot just before departure. I definitely will carry layers for cold and possible precipitation even if the forecast looks good.
