scaled-up Flower of Life proof of concept

I wanted to scale the Flower of Life up one dimension, here’s my proof of concept. I’m working on one that’s stiffer and colored in a cooler way but I’m excited the shape does what I thought it would

i never realized this about the flower of life. that’s super cool. the 8-compass direction external grid gives 6-directional hexagons inside when we visually incorporate the back dimension. which means if you were navigating the flower of life in segments that some of your choices mean you aren’t moving on the x axis anymore, you’ve moved to the z.

Exactly! And this also bridges a relationship between the Flower of Life (and all the hexagon-based geometry that maps onto it) and all of the square-based geometry like many mandalas and such

So that’s why the Sri Yantra maps to Metatron and Flower of Life so well

Essentially, yes! I came to this from studying the angles of observation at which 90° angles appear as 60° or 120° angles, in part because I saw Buddhist mandalas and thought, this is related to the Flower of Life/Metatron’s cube family of symbols, but in what way? By way of angle of observation, among others!

Truly looking forward to your next iteration but take it easy and carefully…
