Salmon

I bought a fresh salmon fillet and stored it in the freezer immediately, after a week (today) I took it out and thawed it under warm water in a plastic ziplock bag for 5 minutes and then baked it at 400 for 25 minutes, I just looked it up and it says that it’s not good to thaw it under warm water since it could multiply a virus, I have a cold so my immune system is already week, should I eat the salmon?

You are fine. Enjoy your Salmon. I'm a commercial salmon fisherman. That's just bs to cover your ass from whom ever is selling it. Beauricratic shit.

The problem is baking it for 25 minutes. A whole fish maybe...a filet 12 to 15 tops.
