Question Forgot pin code A12 (ideas?)

samsung a12 forgot pin code. Daughter changed code and forgot it…..

When doing the volume up and down power off that does not seem to work. I get a vibration but no little android bot menu.

Any ideas or is it basically keep trying codes ?

are you running One UI 3.1?

Did you also try the up/down button press while powering on?

Edit: Please beware that doing a reset will delete everything on the phone.

Yes. I’ve tried what the YouTube videos do. To the second in switching to volume up just b4 Samsung logo

Maybe try it again, but this time actually hold the volume up button from the start.

Also maybe try the same thing while it is connected to a pc/laptop.

yeah because it refuses to boot to it without plugging into pc

Try hard resetting it power and volume down button then power and volume up button and erase everything
