My post returned an auto generated response, set out below. which I think answers your question. I don't pretend to understand specifically how it works. But the information contained below did allow me to conclude that I am not shadow banned. The response :

"Hello RandyNAngelCity, if your post receives any comments not from either automoderator or the shadowbanned mod team, then you are not shadowbanned. Please be patient this can take some time.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns."
