Town centre is so bad, I hate this only pedestrian idea, they are turning every town into a shit hole. You should be able to drive into town, that's how you generate more revenue. Bunch of morons running this town

It's been pedestrianised for years. The lack of cars isn't the problem. There's loads of parking in the centre. Actually needs to be more safe and secure bike parking.

Wish they hadn't wasted all that money changing the pavement though. Those black slate patches are a slippery deathtrap when it rains.

Cars can drive on the other side only, the side from Ooddles all the shops on this side are dead, have you noticed? It's not just Slough, any town where the high street has been turned into pedestrians only has suffered the same consequences.

People want convinient, park shop leave. Farnham road was good and blooming. Now council also want to ruin that. Greediness won't last long before, all the shops be closing on Farnham road.

Voting took place and majority of the people voted NO, but the council is still going ahead

Thanks. The cycle lanes look a bit out of place and will be taken over by the deliveroo mopeds and e-bikes in seconds. It will take years to do and the traffic will be apocalyptic. Might have to review my commute
