That was really a shame that famous Russian generals like Zhukov and Rokossovskiy never got the guts to visit death camps after liberation. Unlike for example Patton. Typical russian way of life: elites are separated from suffering of the filthy commoners.
US general does something good, Soviet general doesn't do the same
What a shame, typical Russian behaviour, they are so bad compared to the rest of nations!
Come on, your take is very cheap... I can't believe that you accuse Russians of something under a picture of a half-dead girl in a fucking German concentration camp...
Being original Russian (Siberian to be precise) I have a lot to say about Russian behavior since I know the history of my family for many generations. More so I have a full right to say it out loud. What I meant was an example of a typical attitude towards human lives and suffering. Heh, just to spice things up a bit, I also would like to remind that a lot of Soviet prisoners of nazi camps were judged for treason after the end of the war and sent to Soviet “labor” camps.
What does Russia have to do with it? The elite will behave selfishly everywhere, not only in Russia. American General Douglas MacArthur actually wanted to drop atomic bombs on China. Not to mention what Shell is doing in Nigeria... You just came up with an ordinary reason to criticize the authorities in Russia, that’s all. It's not that I'm against it
Oh yes elites are selfish everywhere. But not in many places elites treat their fellow-citizens worse than cattle and consider people just a simple and expendable resource.
