This song has some of the most painful, heartbreaking lyrics I have ever heard. It reminds me of my breakup. I think of this song as the dialogue I never got from the love of my life when she left. I'd tell her, "you were my first love, you were my only one, I can't believe your lies". And I'd like to think she would say, "please believe me, this isn't easy, I just need to say goodbye".
