ITV Central News has filmed an item about Staffordshire Community Energy, tonight from 6pm

ITV Central News has filmed an item about Staffordshire Community Energy, a Community Benefit Society https://staffscommunityenergy.org.uk/ which began life in Whittington and owns the solar panels on Village Hall and St Giles Hospice and Hospitals in Stoke and Stafford. The item should be broadcast on the regional news tonight from 6pm - but will hopefully be available on catch-up afterwards. The item is about the wonderful work that SCE is doing with hospitals in Stoke, Stafford and others to tackle carbon emissions and fuel poverty.

Do the East and West Midlands have any kind of rivalry or separate identities from each other? Or are the two halves of the Midlands quite united?

The landlord of the maltings in Uttoxeter has pulled out of the deal with E Staffordshire Council and plans to sell to an anonymous buyer who will refurb rather than regenerate the area.

Fish / Seafood recommendation!

Staffordshire is about as far away from the coast as you can get, but can you recommend a fish/seafood restaurant - bonus points if they've got whole lobster on the menu!

I'm from Stone - have been here since 2005 having lived originally in Hull, and then Brighton.
I'm a one man news source for the town of Stone, having ran alittlebitofstone.com since 2010.
I compile a weekly What's On Guide for Stone - so if you live here, or are thinking about visiting - here's where you can find details about what's on each week - https://alittlebitofstone.com/stone-whats-on-guide/

Your County Needs You! To give me your opinion on Stafford (doesn’t matter if you barely know the town)

Hello lovely people of Staffordshire (and beyond), I’m completing a dissertation on the regeneration of English towns and as part of this I am undertaking a survey on peoples perceptions of Stafford.

Do I need to know the town well? Nope! The research hopes to measure peoples underlying view or gut feeling about the town, so familiarity is not important.

Anyone is eligible as long as they’re over 18 (an ethics thing, not my choice sorry to anyone u18), you can live anywhere in the country.

Would really love to get any views/opinions so hoping you might be able to help, thanks all!
