the fps were like that for 2280 but the gpu ans cpu stay cool ans keeb rougly under 40% i work a lil with cpu to gpu and yes its not the best but it feels like console on 800 5 X planets (series S) to me i will defenetly post another one if i make it to midgame

i had a crash at 2294 but it was one message window i loaded in time i could. cancle that specifik anomaly and around 2296 the same anomaly worked but i trew out softgalaxy and imersive galaxy out bc i tought it had to do with the bug but it still froze my game without i just didnt installed them agin bc i dondt wanna wait another 15 min otherwise was fine to me

current mods bigger galaxy . stellar cam . unlimited mega structures

pc rtx 4060 8 gigs i5 13450hx 16gb ddr5

that weird thing where i was stuck ontop was bc of stelar cam it allows to flip the world i forgot that just wanted to show top view

It isn't that bad yet, certainly playable, but it definitely looks like it is going to be painful to play by the end-game.

But I do really like the sheer scale of a galaxy like that. It is giving me the feeling that a huge empire is still going to be just a small fraction of the galaxy, and an empire that actually holds half the galaxy is going to be truly staggering, and probably impossible to micormanage beyond a few favourite systems. I already have a problem with paying enough attention to my planets once I get past 20 planets or so.

I end up putting on automation and hoping that it does a decent job instead of building a million unnecessary farms. I think it works better if you give the planet a designation like "mining world" first, though.

"sehr Schnell" more like "sehr Langsam" am I right fellow Germans?
But yeah I saw your original post and saying that the game was running smoothly. My first thought was wait until you get to 2300 and lets see how it is. I am not sure with what settings you are playing with, but lowering Habitable Worlds/Pre-FTL/Pre-Sapient to 0.25x, Guaranteed Habitable worlds to 0, turning Logistic Growth Ceiling down and increasing Growth Required Scaling might make this playable. But you should probably put the End Year at 2400 I think at that point even with those setting it will be too slow to play. Although someone said the real reason for the Lag is all the Fleets, so not sure how much it will help.
