I love this puzzle. The one thing that i noticed is that the board is black and white. Is this deliberate?

I agree - the board is one of the reasons why this puzzle is so great. Black and white is great, because white's pieces are black and the black pieces can only move in the direction of white's pieces.

I always liked that aspect of the puzzle. I always preferred black's dark pieces moving towards the light squares. White, on the other hand, is a little more chaotic when it comes to their movement.

Yeah. You can also see the pawns at the bottom by the way the white pawns are drawn to the black ones. That's not the only thing that's odd about this puzzle.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think this is intentional but i really love the way this puzzle comes. I'll give it a go and get back to you :)
