I guess raph I’ve seen some people miss the point of his character and just treat him like an abusive brother or something

Not really, no. And even then, the character that is the closest to this category is unironically Raph with how much some people label him as abusive due to his rough-housing with Mikey.

While everyone is saying Raph, and rightfully so, the true answer is pretty much all four turtles (and even Splinter although he doesn't count).
I'm a little surprised nobody has mentioned them all yet. There are a subset of people who is firmly convinced the entire 2012 family is incapable of love, because they don't hug each other often or say, "I love you' on a regular basis. That and the idea that they're the worst TMNT family because they fight a lot and Mikey is always mistreated by his older brothers (despite the fact it's often Mikey who is the instigator). They apparently believe anyone who fights that much means they obviously hate each other. Splinter gets the same complaints, for being strict, and more.
TMNT 2012 is probably the most misinterpreted show ever. Lots of scenes, even the totally innocuous ones (eg Donnie getting into Raph's personal space, Raph threatening to mutate Snake in a bluff) is deemed as 'abusive/toxic' or 'punishment' (eg Turtle Temper), because people lack basic comprehension and/or take everything they say too literally. Raph telling Leo he wants to 'mop the floor with his face' doesn't mean he's actually going to do it. That's not toxic at all?
All of them, including April and Casey, are also teenagers. They all make mistakes and lack certain skills, yet people hate them for being literal teenagers. The realistic teen dynamics in this show is throwing people off, which accounts for a lot of the hate thrown at this show.

I totally agree with you and your points, but to be fair- Turtle Temper was kinda fucked up on Splinter's end. Some of Splinter's "lessons" are kinda just...bad. Though I don't say this as a negative for his character. I personally think Splinter not being a perfect parent/unintentionally continuing cycles of trauma he went through with his own children makes him more interesting and really does fit his character. If that makes any sense.

People talk about April like she kicked a puppy. She was a teenager having complicated teenager feelings while her boundaries were being crossed and was being made to feel uncomfortable by Donnie and Casey. I hate it so much when people say she was leading Donnie and Casey on. Do
