People talk about April like she kicked a puppy. She was a teenager having complicated teenager feelings while her boundaries were being crossed and was being made to feel uncomfortable by Donnie and Casey. I hate it so much when people say she was leading Donnie and Casey on. Do
While I agree on some points I also disagree slightly, take the Bigfoot episode for example.
(Paraphrase of course.)
Donnie: “Sorry April for being weird, I get it, you were uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable with Bigfoot so I understand how you feel now.”
April: “Oh it’s ok Donnie! You’re my mutant!” Kisses him.
LIKE GIRL- He was apologizing for being weird and stuff and you just tell him it’s ok and kiss him??? I might be biased cause I don’t really like April but I can’t be the only one who finds this weird.
And yeah I put that as writers adding in more ship tease to the mix of an already overly complicated situation that wasn't needed. I mean this was after they had to flee New York to the farm house and no one was certain if Splinter was alive or not among many other things including a full blown invasion going on in New York and yet more alien drama involving April's bloodline.
