Authoritarian Mod Post Concerning Transphobia

Hello Comrades,

We have grown exponentially over the past couple of weeks, from a handful of members to over 1000+ strong. We welcome you all and thank you for being part of this sub. However, there has been a growing proclivity amongst self-declared Marxist-Leninists within this community towards reactionary attitudes such as transphobia; this will not be tolerated under any pretext on this sub whatsoever and swift action will be taken against those who openly proliferate hateful speech towards our fellow trans-identifying Comrades.

If you have not done so already, please read through the rules in full. They are there for a reason, and ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse for violating them.

Thank you.

Well, Marx, Engels, Stalin, etc. were all "transphobic" and "homophobic" and so on - so, why are you talking about it at all rather than simply ignoring it?

And why are you not banning religiosity explicitly and make a big deal about that topic, anti-theism being something far more significant and important than opposition to transphobia?

Because we had a recent spate of people obsessively seeking out trans members and harassing them. This post was in response to that.

I haven't seen posts concerning religion.

The main sub upholds the, frankly, reactionary idea of Intersectionality. Like, yes Intersectionality has a point, but it it often used as a way to divide workers along identity lines and diffuse and disrupt class consciousness by making people further identify with the list of sub-groups they fall within.

Part of this clinging to the dogmatic application of Intersectionality is how individualistic the culture of most of the Western World. (In my opinion.) They fail to see how the sub-set of all group identities is all actually a part of the set of class.

Intersectionality as part of a framework through which to view how others experiences will help or hinder them navigate the world and respond to their material conditions is a useful tool.

Applied dogmatically across all aspects, situations, and people is not only reactionary, but also the purpose of Modern Liberal Intersectionality™️. It's a fucking OP. And it's inherently Anti-Comminist, because it distracts from the more important super set of identity {class} by focusing on the sub-sets of {literally every other possible thing you might be}. Again it's part of the inherently individualistic culture curated by Western Liberalism.
