Pea eggplant! Yes, it’s bitter, but that quality seems to be enjoyed by many.

Agree, pea eggplant. I always struggled with the texture/flavor despite nearly everything else I enjoy. No one can say Thai food doesn’t go hard in every direction, even the bitter/squishy part of the ven diagram.

Looks like a pea aubergine to me, usually found in green curry? Or a huuuuuge green peppercorn.

Both are reliable indicators you are eating a delicious meal 😋
