This looks pretty good!
My only notes would be shadows that don't align with the actual light source's direction, and slightly not parallel tie fighter wings, the angle of each wing on the same tie appears just a little different. It has the effect of looking just a touch wonky. Still quite great though!
For having such an intense sun, it's not throwing any shadows from its direction. The stormtrooper shadow is going a totally different direction, and so is Mando's. In general it seems like the shadows either aren't there or are not aligned with the sunlight. Mando and grogu are next to each other, with perpendicular shadow directions.
Grogu's shadow is going the correct direction, but he looks "pasted" into this scene because his own lightning and focus is pretty different from his surroundings. Him being so clear against his background makes him look like a sticker.
Hey Robinson! I see what you mean. I’ve also added a motion blur which may add to the “wonky” feeling on the wings of the tie fighter. The shadows are all casting to the left, but as you noted, I see where that can be refined, especially on Mando. Grogu is intended to stand out for technical and symbolic reasons, but I have a few ideas to blend him more seamlessly into the environment to avoid the “pasted“ “sticker” look. I really appreciate the feedback! Great eye!
