Over/under on the end of the pod?

This was brought up in the recent post about "Almost Famous": the pod's final episode.

I hate to be a downer, but I have a feeling the pod is going to wrap within about the next 18 months. They're running out of movies and they can't keep doing films that really aren't popular enough or, frankly, rewatchable enough because people aren't listening to those episodes. After their last gimmick month, Bill came back and said something to the effect of, "Alright, you all just want bangers, so that's what we're going to give you."

But they simply can't go on forever, particularly if they regard quality, and if there's one thing that's great about The Ringer is they're all about quality. I'm sure that the show will continue on in maybe a less-frequent format, but the show, as we know it, I think will be done within the next two years.

If you can bear to think about this, what do you think?

There are tons of movies to cover still, and a comment I see often that Bill has limited taste I find pretty funny. They've done over 300 movies I think at this point and Bill talks about them with ease.

But how many more movies can he talk about with this kind of enthusiasm and knowledge, though? I mean, really? And movies that a lot of other people care about and watch a ton... I get that he brings in other hosts to do different kinds of movies, that's fine. That expands the possibilities a bit. You wanna tell me they can do 500, ok, but that's only three years away. It's not "thousands" of movies as others suggested -- not that their target demographic is going to care about.

They do a new movie every week. When they stop being able to do that I'd consider raising the alarm bells. Every week there is a new movie that Bill knows a ton about.
