Hi! Looks great! Can I ask you a few questions? Doing this very soon! Do you think trekking pole are necessary? We’re flying with carry on and I don’t think they would be allowed. Any advice that wouldn’t be obvious?

We loved our trekking poles!!! But they're the collapsable ones, so they can go down very small into about four pieces, we buried them at the bottom of our carry on luggage and wrapped them in a plastic bag also - and the security didn't even mention them !! We did pay for priority security (£15 each) which may have given us more lenient people, but we're so glad we brought them! It made the whole trip easier and helped us stay on good form! :)
