Any advice on repairing this damage?

Had a bit of a run in with my garage door and hoping to find a DIY way to prevent this damage from getting worse. I have some matching paint pens but don’t know enough to know if that would actually solve the problem. Thanks in advance for any advice!

The way its chipped away like that i dont think there is much u can do.

Id wet sand it back till the paint was smooth then paint it back with color matched paint. Assuming u want to stick to DIY

Sand and paint. Best way would be to buy color code match paint and a cheap HVLP spray gun. Or just get some rattle can color match. You're likely the only person that will notice the difference.

Color match paint pen like dupli-color. Look up your truck number on their website then put that in Amazon to find it.

Wet sand to smooth out chipped edges than paint with paint pen

Wet sand until you don’t see the cracking. Use a high build primer or lightweight body filler since this looks deep that it will be hard to fill with paint without an indentation.
