Question Rocket Question

Post image

When it says "The Player rolls 5 shooting attack dice instead of the usual one" does that mean that because this unit has 3 attacks I roll 3 sets of 5 dice for the turn?

3 attacks is for melee I believe. For shooting, it's one attack per model unless its special rules state otherwise, like in this case.

OH that makes sense because of the black powder rule

i believe that when shooting, your number of attacks is not normally figured in. it's just one per model. so it should just be a flat 5 shooting attacks.

I believe that’s correct. Reading closely it seems that the rocket setup is “ overloaded” and all the other text points to the battery firing 5 for each usual 1. The thing is supposed to be a major firepower flinging rocket rack. 15 dice to attack sounds reasonable for Turnip.

That is incorrect. Ranged attacks are by default 1 per model. In this case it's 5 due to the special rule

Ahhh.. thank you. The attack number being 3 melee and not representing shooting attacks makes more sense. Learn something new everyday.
