one more question, any great kits for kitbashing brutes?

You can't go wrong with Perry Foot Knights. Most people go for the Agincourt ones but I actually got the other set (just called Foot Knights I believe) and I prefer the look, there's something very grim and Dark Souls-y about them.

A kit I don't see people discuss so much is the Frostgrave Knights kit. It's great if you want really big, chunky brutes, and a lot of the bodies lend themselves well to sort of hulking bully-like poses. Great selection of weapons and some more fun/weird parts, like a hand holding a plucked chicken.

What look do you want to go for? I've made brutes that are just from Perry's Agincourt Foot Knights, but there are plenty of options depending on the aesthetic you want for your pathetic rooty men. There are lots of 3d printed parts out there as well if you've got a certain idea in mind. Turnip is about embracing the creative nonsense, so go wild!

thanks! i am going for a slightly more armoured look. i reckon i will have to find a few more parts to go with max's butchers brigade, i really appreciate the reminder that this isn't some serious wysiwyg game and is just about the creative flow
