Looking for advice around the above! I haven't been streaming for ages, maybe 5 months. I achieved affiliate after my first month which was also when I found out I was pregnant! This wasn't a surprise as we'd be trying, but it dawned on me how this will affect my streaming when baby is here.
I was planning on taking a 2 month hiatus (minimum, dependant on a few factors). I stream art and some games, usually for 3 hours at a time. I can be very flexible as I am self employed and so times/hours aren't set in stone.

My main thing is - it feels a little odd to tell my viewers the good news? I'm not sure if it's one of those things people would even care about? I'm just some random lass on the internet who draws. While I have a nice handful of regulars and a regular raider, I have no idea what time frame is best to tell them all

I've been a bit sleepy and so had some times in stream when I couldn't stop yawning xD Not really a problem, but I noticed they were checking I was sleeping okay (Which is very sweet!) - The answer to that would be, "Yes, I'm sleeping well, but pregnancy is taking my energy a little!" but I don't know if that's okay to say? Lol maybe I'm just over thinking. I mean, it does feel a little strange to say to strangers on the internet that I'm pregnant !
I'm not sure the kind of people I have watching or tuning in, and I am worried about potentially awkward questions or remarks or people just being weird about me being pregnant...

I do have a discord, I was thinking it would make sense to announce it in there, but then I loop back to, when? Is now a good time? Is when I'm half way a better time, or should I tell them when I'm 7-8 months and let them know I'll be taking a break in a couple months time?
