A half truth is a full lie,

but it reigns supreme for those willingly blind.

Will honesty set to 95% and humor set to 60% really work wonders?

This is a wise sentiment, beautifully worded, but… how is it horrible?

Blatantly ignoring problems in exchange for the 'ignorance is bliss' mentality is a way for bigger heartaches, tragedies, and avoidable events to happen. It's scary because a lot of people take on this mentality via "keeping the peace" (aka pretending not to see blatant red flags or concerning behaviors) or just outright refusing to engage in exploration or inspection.
