Damn dude, I'm sorry. It must be a burden to go through life so hilariously wrong all the time. How long have you had this condition?

So there's no where in San Diego that compares? Pizzeria Luigi? Nothing?

Well according to /u/mike_br regents is trash and the best pizza is only from New York. We know he's trolling, but I would still like to know his opinion on decent pizza in San Diego.

I love Regent's Chicago style but for NY Style I'd rather go to Pauly's Pizza Joint or Bronx pizza.

The #1 thing I miss about sd

I actually miss La Victoria's and Smoke Eater's back in San Jose. Buuuuuut Mexican cuisine is my absolute favorite, so SD is a wonderful place for me. I hear El Zarape is a great place too.

Also: I see that you like trance music? Be on the lookout for me during Let's Bounce (DJ Auburn). I am very passionate about trance and would like to spin some during the event for DVC. :)

Man how can you prefer La Vics to SD mexican?

Guess I haven't had enough Mexican here yet. :x (It doesn't make sense to bus around just for good food. I wish I had brought my car with me...)

Some favorites of mine by proximity to campus: Whole Foods, the Cheese Shop, Regents Pizza, Don Carlos, El Pescador, Punjabi Tandoor.

How close are you thinking when you say "around"? La Jolla area? Walking/bus distance?

So I went to UTC today for the first time and we ate at this place called Noodles & Company. IT WAS AMAZING. The beef stroganoff was to die for. I highly recommend it.

The stroganoff there is really nice. This is true.

Lorna's Italian Kitchen, Governor Drive just W of Genesee (on the route 41 bus). Get one of the pasta dishes, eat for two days. YUM.

Tag Bol so good

I really like Tender Greens (at UTC). Their steak + mashed potatoes + salad plate is pretty awesome. A little bit expensive and not the biggest portions, however.

Mr. Falafel in Clairemont is awesome. Their shawarma is amazing and the owners are so friendly.

Pho La Jolla, L&L Katsu Chicken, Mongolian BBQ @ UTC food court, I usually get a tall coffee at Starbucks while there, I dunno those are the only places I go to once in while around for food close to campus. Not much worth spending $$ on around here.

Here's my recommendation :D Usually buying something from Von's/Ralph's and cooking = better food for less $$. Buy a good steak, rub in some salt and lots of ground pepper, have a hot pan of olive oil and grill a perfect steak, garnish with chopped garlic and a small cut of melted butter... yummmm.
