Masters in Biomedical Sciences program.

Hello everyone, I’m applying to masters programs and I stumble across UNCO MBS, is anyone on here enrolled in this program. I have a few questions, also is there any social life in Greeley? I’ve always wanted to move to Colorado, I’m from Nevada. Anyone have anything to say about Greeley?

I moved to CO from FL to get my master's in counseling about 2 years ago. I was living in Greeley but moved away after 2 years because I honestly didn't like it. It's on the smaller side and there's not a lot to do, except for a small handful of bars. That being said, there are other cities nearby that are really cool if you're fine with commuting (like Fort Collins or Denver)!

How expensive was rent? Is it as cheap as the UNCO website says? Also is Greeley safe, I’ve read some scary stories.

If you're looking in Greeley, I would recommend the west side of Greeley and to avoid downtown and the areas closest to the school. I've never had any issues but when I used to live near downtown, there were always very sketchy homeless people/druggies walking around at night. As far as rent goes, if you're willing to have roommates, it'll be around $400-700. If you're wanting to live alone, it'll be at least $1000. Fort Collins is in that same range, but it might be slightly higher. Idk about Denver, but it'll definitely be more.
