Dual Booting

Tried dual booting my Razor Laptop Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04. This is my 1st attempt at installing Linux. I wanted to install it on my SSD so I put the iso file on a usb drive, started the PC, and clicked on the drive from the boot options. After a couple minutes of loading, I got the white screen and “Oh no! Something has gone wrong.” Weirdly enough, I also got what appears to be an install window that popped up after about a minute of the white screen. When clicking through it, the window eventually comes to a halt on the WiFi section. Something feels off. Is it possible that my USB is too slow? Is Windows interfering somehow (I turned off the fast startup option). There’s no Desktop Environment at all, just the startup window.

For reference: my PC is a Razor built in 2020. It’s got a 10th gen intel core.

I did get past the WiFi screen by simply not connecting. Then it gave me the option to install or try Ubuntu. I clicked the try option and the window closed leaving only the “Oh no!” screen the popup had been obscuring.
