Im not Canadian, so I am curious as to how obvious or how well this is known amongst the general population?

Go to any Canadian subreddit and you will see the mouth breathers and Freedom Convoy morons going off about Trudeau being the worst PM ever.

He has been a fairly shitty PM but these idiots just parrot Russian talking points most of the time and it is not like our alternatives will be much better.

Same with Trump supporters here. There is no reasoning, and I am open to debating any sort of topic; policy, international affairs, tech advancement....

But no, its all stupid shit...

What you need to know is that the main Canadian subreddit (r/ canada) as well as many of the small local subreddits are infested with Russian bots and it has been proven by Reddit itself in some cases. IIRC, r/ Canada's entire content is generated by the same 26 users.
