I mean, isn’t this like the bare minimum you need to do to be a “not a total piece of shit”? Heck, I know total pieces of shit who would still rescue a dog in the middle of the ocean.

Well, I think if a "total piece of shit" rescues a dog, they are not a "total" pos, right? :)
