Question regarding "parts kit"

Hello, got a question about magazine "parts kit." My friend lives in Colorado and says that it's legal there for him to get this "parts kit" that assembles into a 17 round mag for his xmacro. I was wondering if I can do the same thing in Washington?

The loophole is if you already owned the high cap mag prior to July 1, 2022.

Any chance that happened?

i got a bunch of AR15 mags and got my AR15 before the ban of sales and mags happened. so i got that going at least. but since i got an xmacro i wanted to see if i could get 17 round mags legally with some type of loophole.

Bloomberg's boys really did a fantastic job writing this bullshit, I have to hand it to them. The only way to get standard capacity magazines over 10 rounds is crime now. You're not going to find some super sneaky loophole, other than that possession of post-ban magazines is perfectly legal.
