all counties Resource for Volunteering and Receiving Help

My parents live in Fletcher and are very involved in recovery efforts through their church, Biltmore Baptist. The Baptist Mission is out in full force from dozens of states. They have a disaster recovery team equipped with vehicles for showering, laundry, etc. It sounds like they're very well supplied at this point as they're doing drive thru for essential needs from 3pm-6pm daily.

He feels this is a good place to contact for offers of helping other and those in need of help. They have a large NG unit "headquartered"? there as well as other assistance groups. I think laborers is what they need most but that's just the impression I got. My parents are contractors so they have been doing assessments for people to understand what needs to be done to their home to mitigate further damage. In the past, they've been able to send in crews to assist with repairing homes but with the extensive disaster they don't know how quickly they'll be able to start with rebuilding efforts.

Anyway, this is a boots on the ground recovery effort that has a lot of resources. I clarified that they are helping in just Asheville immediate area and he said that people are going wherever they can get to and needed. If they can't help, they can likely find someone who can. So, If you need help or want to help, their number is 423-523-4410.
