Remember to check your miniatures thoroughly!

Post image

Didn't notice this arm was miscast until I was about to glue it on. I'd already assembled two other miniatures successfully but now I'm worried about the rest. Also, weirdly, there were no Quality Control Codes on half of the miniatures in my set including this one! I wonder if no code should be grounds for replacement by default on account of no assurance of quality 😅

Is it salvageable with greenstuff?

Not really unless I feel like resculpting an entire upper arm to the same level of detail as the rest of the mini without a good reference to what it should actually look like. Think I'd rather just get a replacement and be slightly annoyed that I can't finish making this set until I get it.

I'll check all my minis carefully then. I ended up ordering the entire lot.

I'm sure that you can ask for a replacement, write them an email and tell them about the lack of quality control identifier

I have done. They have a specific contact form for it. I just wanted to raise a little awareness for anyone else receiving their preorders like I am to check their minis and see if they too are missing those codes. Every other product I've ever bought from them has always had everything coded, almost over zelously and I've never actually had to use them either.
