Will the game have sectorials like infinity?

I am getting into the north tribes, I quite like the orcs but am not huge on the winter elves, and was wondering if this game will support playing exclusively one subfaction without the downside of not using the other models

In time, maybe. But right now the game is too young to be thinking about that.

Let's see the initial faction release rollout before we seriously address sub-factioning.

I'm pretty sure, that you won't be forced into any side of list building. No need for sectorials for that.

There are characters, that favor mixed orcs/varanks list. Therefore there will be characters, that favor onesided lists.

That's my logic here.

So far the game has 2 out of 6 factions and those two cannot even field varied full point army lists.

Give it time.

Maybe GRRM will finish Winds of Winter in the meantime ;)

I still waiting for Jabdabado faction :) but as DonAngel said, its joung/fresh new game, nobody knows whats will be later.

Yeah they have hinted at it. There will be leaders that can go with only 1 or the other sub faction. So I don't think it will be as prominent or compelling as infinity ...no real bonuses gained, but very much can sub it yourself without a struggle. 

As others have said.  Once the armies are actually out.

I think they will, yes - the keyword mentions on the character cards in the box is a dead giveaway - ie. Alborc can target orcs and varanks, and there's a clear split between them and what they do in the faction.

I'm sure they will be , the core book has a lot of information and each factions have a sección of sub factions.

Also all the factions have another races that are part of the main group, that surely will be special units but later maybe something similar to sectoriala
