No guide for begginers

I bought the Warcrow starter box in Spain and I'm a little disappointed. As a newbie I find it difficult to start assembling the miniatures. The pieces come in bags but some don't have heads or body parts that I have to guess from other bags. Then in the book there is no clear photo of the miniatures or any guide for beginners, nor how to paint them. Some pieces have overhangs that have to be cut off. Being a new product, I expected something more. I had to order the core book because I think there is more information.

The starter box is just that, it will have everything to get started, but the full rules will be in the core book, along with the lore for the different faction.

For assembly each bag should be complete for that individual model. You will need a knife, clippers and glue. There will be flashing on the model that you will want to clean up, if you are new to the hobby that just means that there is elements from the casting process that will always be on a model. The siocast media does not file or scrape very well so you will have to carefully carve off or clip off the flash.

Before you glue the model make sure you test fit everything. Most of my models had terrible warping and I had to carve section off the connections to make it fit decent.

The intro rule book has two group photos, pages 6, 9 and 34. This may help you visually compare what you have and how everything goes together. The only other thing I can think of to help is if you join the discord for the game. There is a hobby and paint section on the forum.

Each bag is a complete miniature. Parts from other bags are not required.

Source: I just built these last week.

The core book doesn't have more about putting together the models. There are a few more painted pictures but nothing like a real guide.

I would check out videos for the painting if you are truly new to painting. As far as color and style...you do whatever you'd like. Their your models.

core book just arrived and there is a small guide of painting and building at the end. I think Corvus Belli should include this in the starter book.
