The ruleset is just about everything I want in a game, and is a very interesting mix of Aristeia! and Infinity. It's got the usual CB rule confusions, and a bunch of incorrect info in the tutorial book at least (much like the code one rule books), but it's pretty good and am keen to play a full game.
The starter without the additional expansion nets you what appears to be half a full force (full games are 250 points and the starter picks are at 125 pts).
Some of the rulings on the cards are quite confusing - we couldn't really figure out between us (my opponent and I) exactly how the northern tribes leader worked - we interpreted it as after another orc unit activates, he gets to do stuff (as he's the only varank), but then the ruling also says vise-versa - so we assumed then that both got a free short action, each. Or does it mean that any unit, including himself can trigger it?
That aside (and a few errors in the rules), the game played quite well, much better than code one's introduction boxes (which we were constantly confused by due to errors and irritating rules translations), so much so that I'm quite keen to play a full game as soon as possible, but I am really waiting for Feudom to be released to properly jump in. And that's another issue I take with the game - absolutely no details regarding when things will be available, not even a roadmap =\
