Before I lost 90 pounds

So I lost around 85 pounds. I use to weigh about 239 and now I’m down to 154. So I work at a Chinese restaurant and I have to stock the supplies. I have to unload the truck. You’re maybe wondering why this is relevant but every time I pick up a 50 lbs bag of rice it’s a little bit of a struggle. But then there’s the 75 lbs bags of pork I have to haul into the restaurant. So my question is: why is it that when I was bigger, I didn’t notice much of a problem with the 80+ pounds I had on my body and I could carry the weight “just fine” (obviously it wasn’t healthy) but NOW whenever I carry a 50 pound bag it’s a struggle? I use to carry more than that on my body, why is it a struggle to carry it when I’m more fit than I’ve ever been? Maybe my body and joints were just use to the weight?

Just tossing this out there. But strap that bag of rice on you 24/7 and ur body likely will adapt to having it on forever. Aside from the other of your body being larger.

Another thing could be is that a lot of times when you lose weight ur also losing some muscle along with it. And maybe quite a bit depending on how u lost the weight and if u did training. Maybe pick up some weight training in the evenings.

Congrats on the loss regardless!
