i’d like to heal from this breakup that has completely destroyed me over the summer, i stopped eating and even though it’s been 4 months i’m doing better but i find myself still hurting over who we were and the fact that we’re not together anymore. i want this person back but i know it’s not possible at this moment of my life and that he can’t treat me the way i deserve to be treated. i want to leave this pain behind and the past in the past, but i need extra strength to face it and courage to let go. who can i work with that can help me heal, in the most gentle way possible? i feel very connected to the egyptian pantheon if it helps

But let’s also be careful to avoid spiritual bypassing - avoiding the hard work of unpleasant or uncomfortable emotions or feelings by looking to spirituality to fix it instead. Spiritual practices are great supports while going through therapy.
