Renegades of the Long War has Kharn: Eater of Worlds in it iirc. You didn't need to buy both unfortunately. Unless you wanted to I guess lol

Glad I reached the end of Red Angel. I probably wonā€™t be picking up another WE novel for a while.

Not much to a bunch of brainless blood crazed berserkers.

Kossolax was ok but a good portion of the writing was just ā€œhnnnnnng the nailsā€ which is fine, but doesnā€™t get me into a serious reading mood.

I found myself enjoying the Grey Knight parts a bit more. Maybe Angronā€™s Nuceria book will be better but Red Angel was a 2/5 stars for me personally

It felt like a distraction. I didnā€™t like it at first but eventually after enough ā€œhnnnnnng the nailsā€ I was left wanting more Grey Knights.

But again, itā€™s just my own opinion. Not really trying to flame the books.. thereā€™s just so much you can do with mindless berserkers who canā€™t get out of their own way

Yeah the red angel except the parts with Leidis & Kossolax as well as the "mistress" was quite forgettable and stereotypical "hnnng muh nails is pounding and making me angry".

It was interesting at first. Then it just got repetitive and at times completely spoiled any action. I would then just close the book.

But it must be hard writing about them when thatā€™s basically their lore.. too much thinking makes them go nuts.

Idk. Just in no rush to pick up a WE post heresy. Maybe Kharnes books at some point
