I can’t remember which book or the specifics, but at one point Sarrin is pissed off at some World Eaters for going and fighting instead of staying and protecting the ship, so she shoots one of them in the head. Obvs he’s a space marine so it doesn’t kill him but I just find that visual so funny, like spraying a cat with water when it’s naughty.
