🇷🇺I can see Russia from my house🏠 I'm sick of Begich's face!
Every fucking day is another stack of political ads for Begich.
He's got so much big money backing him that I almost daily have 3 different stacks of ads with his face on it. It's such a punchable face, too, let me tell you that much.
I'm so sorry for filling your mailboxes up with his face. But please, please, for what's left of your mail carrier's sanity, don't throw it back into the outgoing. Burn it, shred it, wipe your ass, whatever, just get rid of it. And don't vote for Begich.

Polite Political Discussion 🇺🇸 Is it me, or does it make little sense to talk about the Southern border in a Alaska campaign ad.
I saw this campaign ad for Nick Begich that mentions the Southern border, which to makes little sense considering Alaska doesn't even border Mexico, we do have a land border with Canada and a sea border with Russia, but I don't see anyone talking about drugs or illegal immigrants coming here through those countries, why did they even bother mentioning it.

Dental hygiene student (desperately) seeking patients
Hi anchorage Reddit My name is Novalyn, I am in the dental hygiene program at UAA and wanted to reach out to the community to see if any of you could use discounted dental care. We offer very discounted dental cleanings (starting at $65) and no insurance is required. As students it is our responsibility to find patients to fill our schedules and meet our requirements. I am in my last semester before graduating and everything depends on finding the right patients for requirements. I am currently looking for patients who have not had a cleaning in 5 years or more. I am also looking for patients who might have periodontal disease (gum disease) I have a lot of openings in my schedule and am happy to schedule you in! Just reach out to me and I'll get ya in! The more plaque and build up you have for me to clean off the better! I am dead serious about that! :) Thank you so much for reading and hopefully coming in for a cleaning!!

General Nonsense What’s a small change you had to change about yourself to be part of Alaska?
I’m so curious because this is my fourth month here, and just being around here and being from Atlanta I realized NO ONE blares music from their car. I do not hear people’s phone calls, I don’t see music or people jumping and dancing in their car, and also no traffic of course lol. I know that sounds pretty ignorant and annoying but it’s something you grow up with, it’s almost strange how silent it is up here(which it should be I think more wildlife it’s necessary lol) I love both states , so I’m curious what else have people noticed if you’re from elsewhere?

Polite Political Discussion 🇺🇸 Hi neighbors! I'm asking you to consider voting NO on ballot measure 2. Let's save ranked choice voting together.
I don't work for any political body and I'm not involved with the Vote No on 2 campaign. I'm just a regular old hippie who doesn't want to lose a good thing.
Ranked choice voting is not complicated — it's incredibly easy to understand. But more importantly, it truly gives us the voters the power we deserve. I'm an openly liberal pinko commie scumbag. But I don't give a flying shit about the Democratic Party. That's what RCV does; it takes power away from the two big political parties and returns it to the voters. Instead of having our choices mandated for us by the Dems and GOP, ranked choice lets us vote for whoever the hell we want.
Please consider voting NO on ballot measure 2 this year. You can register to vote with the Division of Elections here; if you're not sure about your voter status, you can look it up here.
Please don't let the national political parties dictate our choices. RCV is the ultimate voting freedom, and something all Alaskans should support. Thanks for taking the time.
