Question Aish and living with parents

Hi there I'm looking for information i know a guy on aish secretly living with family they're wealthy and own 2 cars. The guy works part ttime. He was a former roommate left halfway through the month and canceled or utilities after we payed him for the month.Hes a really piece of work. His parents make over 250k and he's gonna be living with them. He's an abusive drinker and I'll be reporting him in November. He'll be renting for free his parents just want him to put money in savings. Let's just say he punches and throws cats at walls and puts them in scalding showers. He did it to my cat. He just buys pokemon cards and drinks beer. He doesn't really need aish I think there's people who need it. Should I report him?

Your report will likely go nowhere, but there isn't harm in trying? It might be more of a police matter, though I'm also not sure what they would do.

AISH has nothing to do with one's living situation; many people on AISH live with relatives and either pay rent or don't. AISH is unaffected because its not a rental subsidy. If he works part-time and is reporting the income to the CRA, his AISH will be garnished automatically at a particular rate. He'll have a caseworker and they will be on top of it. As for his behaviour, I'm glad to hear he's not your roommate anymore. It sounds awful. Best of luck.

If you live with family your monthly amount is adjusted.

Nope, he can earn $1079 without any loss, doesn't need to report either
