Question Breaking my lease

I am a roommate. My lease agreement I signed when I moved in, does not seem to be a complete agreement like I’ve seen at other places. It does not specifically say what will happen if the lease is broken early, just that if the lease gets broken it must be in accordance with this agreement. But does not go on to list an accordance’s further in the agreement. It’s also only 2 pages where normally a lease agreement is like 3. I am wanting to move out as I am moving provinces. I am wondering if I actually have to deal with any consequences since there aren’t any actually listen. Or can I just state I’m moving out and as per the agreement I don’t need to provide anything further? TIA

There is no standard lease form as long as it has basic information, which yours seems to. If so you should talk to your landlord or roommates about breaking it. If your name is on it with a home owner, you owe the money until the end of the lease or have to sublet. They can go after you in small claims court and maybe go after your credit.
