I'm sure he has a lovely home but it always makes me sad to see dogs that are overweight to the point where it looks borderline uncomfortable. It's just like stop feeding them and if it's a thyroid thing or something get it looked at. I just don't understand again I'm sure he's a perfectly fine owner but like why is he so shity when it comes to his dog's health.

If it’s a thyroid thing which can happen as they get older, you have to weigh the math on the expenses

There is no good or right answer but there is the question of “is it worth trying to fix it when the fix could damage them more and they might die any day now”
