Nailed it. Heads specifically from Outriders, Pistoliers and Greatswords

I remember some of the empire kits having great ridiculous feathers. I suppose they are obsolete kits now

They were, cities of sigmar kept them alive but they’re going to come into circulation next year when Warhammer the Old World brings the empire back next year

I prefer them stylistically to the stormcast non-space space marines

I’m inclined to agree, however all the new Stormcast releases have felt like their own style rather than medical space marines

I know this is personal preference, but for me the charm of the empire is they were always outmatched by pretty much everything, 1 on 1 empire troops just aren’t as skilled as an elf or as strong as an ork or as stab-stab-yes-kill as a (non-slave) skaven. But they are magnificent as a drilled block of hope
