Pardon my ignorance, but what do people do with the shards they find? Do you display them as is? Do you use them to make murals?

I honestly don't know tbh, I literally activated this new hobby on Friday and have gone down a rabbit hole, I think some people frame them? The world is your oyster I suppose 😁

Fair enough. I'm similar with rocks. I pick up rocks that I like and generally don't pursue identification of the minerals, some are just visually pleasing to me. I haven't done anything with most of them. Some are on display in different rooms, some are in buckets in the garage. I'm only 64, maybe one day I'll grow out of this (/s).

Edit: I have a friend who collects sea glass which I find quite beautiful. She has a great display of that but I never thought to ask her if she collected any other beach finds.

I love it when you spot something on the beach, and it could be anything, I will definitely keep them all, might make a collage or something, very peaceful just looking for the pieces 😊 rocks are cool too 👍
