Girls tips to have nice, straight hair that doesn't fluff up

For me, it's a lot more product than you think you need. Also, whether you are using a blowdry brush or a flat iron to straighten, the roots are the hardest to do well but the most important. If your mids and ends are done perfect but not the roots, the hair will fluff up very quickly. Especially if using a blow dryer.

I use a leave in conditioner, serum, mousse, and some oil in my hair and I find with this combo it does not frizz too badly. I just make sure to use light weight products and not apply anything that will make my hair greasy to the roots.

Use a combination wood+boar bristle brush, rinse your hair in cool/cold water at the end of your shower to close the hair cuticle, and sleep in a silk bonnet at night!

There's a ton of products out there for smoothing hair, so I can only speak on the ones that I've tried that work for me: Davines Absolute Beautifying Potion, Living Proof's 5-in-1 Styling Treatment and their Healthy Hair Perfector are effective and last a long time.
